New this week, Casey Bader, a producer at Alec Baldwin’s El Dorado Pictures, and producer of the Sundance short film LAVENDER, talked to us about the complexities of working with your friends, why it’s important to only partner with directors who honor producers as equals, and the moments when you have to trust your gut… Like that time a director tried to convince you to produce their film by telling you it would be just like going to summer camp.

Casey Bader is a NY-based producer and graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Casey serves as a producer at Alec Baldwin’s El Dorado Pictures where he executive produced Danny Madden’s feature debut, BEAST BEAST, and Anthony Baxter’s feature documentary FLINT. Bader produced Matthew Puccini’s latest short, LAVENDER, which was acquired by Fox Searchlight and premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. Casey is currently in development on Jake Kolton’s feature MARROW.
