Seattle based producer LACEY LEAVITT has worked with some of the most talented directors in independent film including Megan Griffith, Lynn Shelton, and Todd Rohal and she has played an instrumental role in building the film community in Settle.

We caught up with Lacey at SXSW and heard how her “can-do” attitude in high school turned into a producing career, how she tackled the enormous task of creatively distributing her latest film SADIE, and how if she had a magic wand, she would make it easier for women and people of color to access money.
