This session is designed for the creative team of your project as an introduction to production planning concepts and approaches that reveal how much your script will actually cost to produce. Haire will dissect the creative elements in a script and give practical guidance on how those elements are logistically supported in production to create a feasible plan for a producible script.

Jennifer A. Haire is a Line Producer and DGA Production Manager with professional feature film and television experience since 1999. Her work includes domestic and international productions comprised of a diverse mix of feature films, episodic television, documentaries, game shows, and other short formats with budgets ranging from a few hundred thousand to hundreds of million. A proud “Fighting Pickle,” she is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Jennifer is committed to giving back to the industry and has served on the Board of Directors for IATSE Local 871, the Producers Guild of America, and committees for the DGA. Her industry educational initiatives include the development and execution of domestic and international film and television production crew training programs. She is the co-author of, “Keys to the Production Office, Unlocking Success as an Office Production Assistant in Film and Television,” the first film & television production handbook dedicated to production office operations and the role of the Office Production Assistant.
